Rujiang Li is an Associate Professor and PhD supervisor at Xidian University, as well as a High-Level Young Talent of Shaanxi Province. He earned his BSc in Physics (National Base) in 2011 and MSc in Theoretical Physics in 2014 from Shanxi University, China. He obtained his PhD in Electronic Science and Technology from Zhejiang University, China, in 2018.
Subsequently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Tel Aviv University, Israel, and then as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. In 2021, he joined Xidian University as an Associate Professor under the “Huashan Scholars” Talent Program.
His research focuses on topological photonics, nonlinear optics, and nanophotonics. He has authored one monograph and over 50 SCI journal articles. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 20 papers in journals including Science Advances, National Science Review, Communications Physics (3), Physical Review A/B (5), and Chaos, Solitons and Fractals (2). He serves as an editorial board member of Scientific Reports and a youth editorial board member of Quantum Frontiers. He also serves as a regular reviewer for numerous international journals, such as Light: Science & Applications, Advanced Materials, Communications Physics, ACS Photonics, and Photonics Research.
