| Research Interests |
My research interests focus on artificially realizing nontrivial topological phenomena originating from condensed matter physics in metamaterial systems and harnessing them for practical applications, including topological insulators, topological superconductivity, and the topological Hall effect. My research experience began in conventional hard condensed matter physics and has gradually shifted toward artificially engineered structures. My previous work has included the in-situ characterization of phase transitions in nanostructures and the connection between non-Fermi-liquid behavior and skyrmion phases in transition-metal monosilicides. During my master’s research, I worked on passive mechanical metamaterials, where I constructed a multi-band SSH-type structure and explored its potential for practical applications. Looking ahead, I hope to further investigate rich topological phenomena in wave-based metamaterial systems and explore their potential for functional applications.
